Ballet/Pilates based class. Learn to dance like the wind and explore the secret of ballet technique. Develop lightness and speed like no other. The skills transfer to other forms of dance but are a pleasure to develop in themselves. Come cross train with us.
This class will be ALL DANCING. Even the basic exercises with be rhythmic and musical. It will warm you up deeply, help lengthen and lift the spine, stretch and tone the back, core, legs, and feet on the floor and at the barre. Learn to lift the pelvic floor to support your balance, smooth transfer of weight, develop stability in plie and on half toe.
We will do Adagio, Waltzing, Polka, rhythm steps, running, skipping, jumping and turning. You’ll feel like you’re floating…
RitmoKá (rheet-moh kah): Technique, Styling and Cardio are the main focus of RitmoKá.
Through creatively choreographed routines, classes combine different genres of Latin and modern dance, and gives you the benefit of a thorough workout.
Latin dance ranges from Salsa, Merengue and Cumbia to Reggaeton, Samba and Flamenco. Jazz, Modern and Contemporary movements are also a part of RitmoKá's repertoire.
Those with a dance background will deepen their technique while learning varied choreography.
If you are new to dance, you will explore a variety of dance movements and vocabulary and learning proper technique, all while having FUN!
If you like the variety and are seeking to have it all in one class, RitmoKá will be a dance party where you can get a diverse mix of dance styles. Classes will vary playlist and dance genres.

Yoga Spark ~ Body & Soul, with its fluid pace, improves posture, balance and grace. Kathryn combines breathing techniques and movement through a series of yoga poses to open the hips, strengthen the core and extend the spine: important links to movement in class and in daily life. All levels welcome!
